A TĀTOU KAUPAPA - Our PRojects

This project will establish a dedicated Kaituna River restoration and enhancement fund so that Te Tini a Tuna Action Plan projects are not solely reliant on council funding.

It will provide a level of financial self-sustainability for Te Maru o Kaituna and an additional funding source for river-related projects led by the Kaituna community.

This Project will be led by a Te Maru o Kaituna community connector. Our aim by 2029 is to have a dedicated fund in place that is supporting at least five Kaituna community projects each year.

Planned deliverables include:
• Fund established and at least two external funding partners secured by 30 June 2022.
• Funding rounds held annually.
