A TĀTOU KAUPAPA - Our PRojects

We want our communities and visitors to know and understand why the Kaituna River catchment is special, what work we are doing to achieve the Kaituna River Document vision, and what they can do to help.

This project is about engaging hearts and minds to help achieve our goal of connecting our communities and visitors to our river and to our projects. A dedicated Te Maru o Kaituna community connector will lead the project, with assistance from a broad range of tangata whenua and community partners.

Planned deliverables include:

Development of a communications strategy and TMoK website by 30 June 2022.

Annual work plan developed and publicly shared, and at least one community event held, each year.

A River Symposium held every three years.
